What do Vladimir Ilych Lenin, James Joyce, and Tristan Tzara have in common? They were all living in Zurich in 1917.
The “Revolutionary Zurich” walking tour will take you to the places where political, literary, and artistic revolutions were being shaped by these important cultural figures of the 20th century. I will also guide you through the history of the important movements that resulted from their efforts, and the work that they themselves did while living in Zurich.
We will end the tour at the Cabaret Voltaire where my good friend, Lia Perjovschi, has a show outlining the history of art from her perspective. After checking out the show, we will hang out at the cafe with a warm drink and some friendly chatting.
